1.         In-School Exams - Arrive 15 minutes ahead of starting time of the exam.

Provincial Exams - Arrive no later than 20 minutes ahead of starting time

of exam.  There will be no admittance 30 minutes after the exam has begun.

2.         There will be no talking during any part of the exam. Talking during an exam may

            lead to disqualification.

3.         Keep eyes on your own paper and face forward in your desk.

4.         If you need anything during the exam, raise your hand and wait for a teacher to

            attend to you.

5.         Only exam materials are to be at desk.  (No hats, coats, backpacks, etc.)

All back packs and coats must be left in lockers or at the door. It is suggested that students wear or bring a sweater so that they will be comfortable when writing.  No jackets will be allowed in the exam area. (The multipurpose room can vary in temperature).

6.         Seating arrangements will be determined by the supervising teacher.

7.         Only pens, pencils, calculators or required items will be allowed in the exam

            area.

8.         Exam time limits will be adhered to unless previous arrangements have been

           made.

9.         Students will be required to stay for a minimum of one hour for both school and

           Provincial exams.

10.       Students leaving the exam before the time limit is up should leave the exam

           area quickly and quietly.

11.      Textbooks should be handed in to the classroom teacher no later than the day of

the exam.  The usual expectation is that all textbooks will be handed in to your

classroom teacher on the last day of classes.

12.     Cheating on assignments or examinations will be reported to the principal and will

normally result  in a grade of zero being assigned for that assignment or exam.

Cheating could result in course failure and/or other disciplinary action.

13.     Cell phones, electronic devices including MP3 players, iPods and hand held video

games should be left in lockers, or should be placed at the back of the room.

If an electronic device is detected in the exam area it may result in a grade

of "0"(zero).
