GRAD CEREMONY INVITATIONS – Grads – pick up your Graduation Ceremony invitations from Mrs. Girard in the office.

 

TEXTBOOKS – To all students of Wellington – please make sure that the textbook you have been assigned is still the textbook you have in your possession. Soon you will be asked to return your course textbooks – make sure the one that you have for the course is actually the one you have been assigned. Check with your teachers if you are unsure.

 

LINK CREW’S COFFEE CRAM HOUSE – Need a quiet place to study? Want some extra help with your homework? Link Crew’s Coffee Cram House is back for the second semester! Tables will be set up in the Library after school until 4:00 for people who want to study. Hot chocolate, coffee and tea will be available and tutors will be there to provide assistance on a variety of subjects.

 

Nanaimo Youth Volunteer Corps is looking for friendly, energetic youth volunteers ages 11 to 18 who would like spending time on various service projects. WELLINGTON HOCKEY POOL – The 2010 Wellington Hockey Pool is now over wit the Hawks thrashing the Flyers in the Cup final. Jakie the Romulen snuck past Kyle is Awesome to take first place. Skyler the fffff Madman won the tiebreak and came in second and Kyle Is Awesome finished in third. The top female was Erbert the Tree AKA Breanna Erbert and finally in a tiebreak – the top teacher was the only Calgary Flame fan at Wellington – our very own principal, Mr. Thompson. Well done to all who entered this year’s pool and good luck on your upcoming exams. PS - There are now 87 days until start up next fall!!

 

SPIRIT DAY – Tuesday, June 15th is Wellington Spirit Day. Dress up in your Welly clothing to show the Wellington spirit on the last day of school.

 

SCHOOL AWARDS – If you were the recipient of a school award and were unable to attend the ceremonies yesterday please come to the office to see Mrs. Ringma.
